Due to unexpected cold snap in Central Florida we had to scramble to protect our tropical plants. Making "shower curtains" out of visqueen and duct tape to wrap around our potting shed was a priority. Once this done we needed holes to thread wire through in order to hang snugly. This grommet set was just the ticket. Instead of having to hammer each grommet with a punch this hand held grommet punch saved us so much time! We consider this more an investment than an expense. I just used it to repair an older tarp to add a few extra holes near corners. I'll be using it on our shade cloth next Spring for sure. Very handy! I will update this review if necessary
The magnets are weak but will hold the ring in place long as you’re careful. The tool itself feel fairly durable and I think I could bend it with too much force so be careful. For what I need to do I didn’t want to spend over $100 on a commercial grade.
